The law violates the establishment clause because it elevates Judaism above Christianity thus making it the de facto religion of the United States of America. Something I’ve been thinking lately, but could we say that some of the “skull proofs” they have of old bones saying that that’s proof that we’ve been evolving, could be that because of relationships between relatives was normal back then, maybe those were the results of incest? There’s a difference between “taste” or “preference” and morality. I hate navy blue with black, but if you like those colors together I’ll put up with it without stoning you or accusing you of inciting me to anger. I manage my own emotions and I don’t expect you to change anything about yourself. What is acceptable for a woman to wear to a public beach in your opinion? Whatever your answer I bet her beach attire would look pretty dumb if she wore it to the dentist’s office or the grocery store; not because it’s immoral in any way but because it’s in poor taste. What the sight of a woman’s/girl’s body makes you feel has nothing to do with her but everything to do with you and your eye. If your eye causes you to sin… what? Cover her up? Stone her? Lock her up? No, pluck out your eye! Even back then Jesus knew this was an issue and He placed the responsibility on your eyes not womenswear. You are not an animal, God has given you the ability to choose your emotions and control your body. If doctors can do it then there’s no reason every man can’t do it. It’s all in what you have trained your eyes to do. And if this is such a big issue for you then we all know what you’ve been doing with your eyes. Menswear is boxy and designed to make men look good and like men. Stop trying to dress women in boxy clothes and making them look like men. Let women dress like women and show the difference between their bodies and that of a man. (Preferably within the parameter of good taste, but if not then deal with it). Everyone deserves respect and autonomy over their own body.

In all seriousness, has anyone ever determined that the only two people born lacked two things that every other human has/had: a mother and belly button? It stands to reason that if you really process things out, without a mother there would be no umbilical cord thus no belly button. I feel bad in some respects for Adam & Eve. Not knowing a mom leaves a void, but they were also never children as we know of children. Why it popped into my head, who knows, but if I’m wrong please tell me.

The difference and some Catholics avoid is that there will be a reign of the saints and Christ on earth. Catholics dont take this literally and are amillenial and believe it is either this age(you can hardly claim that) or that it is some vague future metaphor. Catholics are only focused on the spiritual and not the physical which will occur.

The Trent Horn comment section says that you are a public dissenter from papal teaching and guilty of a mortal sin because you dare challenge the Pope and the DDF, and that you must agree that theistic evolution is an acceptable position for a Catholic to hold. What say you?

I think the pantheism of Stoicism would help fill in the ideological gaps in your pantheist assessment- especially with regard to ethics and morality. They weren’t deterministic, rather understood the Logos in man as the aspect which allows us to assent to impulses or not. I really enjoyed this video.

I respect that you come to a different conclusion than I do on a whole bunch of topics. No problem! I also suspect that your view as being a persecuted religious and philosophical minority has become how you identify yourself. And pretty much the whole world is conspiring against you and your buddies. But unless you only aim to communicate with your buddies, it would benefit any attempt having a dialogue with people who aren't agreeing with you, to actually study the science you disagree with. As it is, you have only shown that your scientific understanding is well below highschool-level. Thus making it impossible for you to grasp the meat of the scientific theories you disagree with.

In the vid title and at times in the talk Kennedy makes overextended claims. For instance even Chesterton concedes that evolution is not necessarily heretical (and here it's worth pointing out that heretical forms of creationism can also exist, so one could equally say that creationism is "not necessarily heretical"), and of course the Church has never deemed otherwise. And has the Church ever declared conceptualism and even nominalism to be heretical? No doubt there are philosophical problems, but heretical? I'd be interested in seeing that substantiated if so. This is all intended cordially.

I don’t think you would have to make videos about a caricature of people that think evolution is occurring philosophically if you actually thought evolution wasn’t true. There is plenty of religious people, Christians even that think evolution is God working in the world, all your criticism is the same things atheist claim what religion does. Take a trip back through time. Look up pictures of advertisements an the clothing women and Men wore before 1964 and 65. Then look at the radical change starting 1966 onward. Overnight the hippie generation an California dreamin swept the world. I'm glad Kennedy is teaching the Young generation it's important for young people to educate themselves, inform and discipline their minds. As for me I've been through this stuff myself and beyond the point where expending any remaing energy pondering or attempting to transmit these good ideas has came to an end. Long way saying people like myself are timed out. It's up to the evangelizers of Kennedys generation to start the renewal of true knowledge and critical thinking.. Yep, Chesterton is showing that if evolution is turned into a philosophy, nothing exists because then Platonic forms don't exist, do to flux, and we're left with nominalism.

There's someone very dear to me who has reached exactly this destruction of thought, as you so perfectly describe at the beginning of the video. I pray to our Lady for this person all the time. They are a lovely person who I love deeply. In a way it's a relief that I know there's no point trying to argue with them any more. Just pray for them. I would be very grateful if anyone reading this could say a prayer for this person too. (Thank you for this which helps me to understand much better how they got where they are).

This is so good but I could barely get through the parts on divorce. The thing about society gaslighting us on divorce hit too hard. My parents thankfully reconciled, but I've never been the same since that separation. Now I've found out my own husband has been chronically unfaithful and dishonest about his intentions and he's leaving me. Trying to express to people my fears for my daughter and the seriousness of what we've done to her life is maddening because everyone around me just repeats how this is normal and she'll adjust and as long as we're happy and good to her she'll be fine. It's insane. People who are clearly not keep saying "well, my parents divorced and I turned out okay."

On the opposite side, what can you do if you believe in intelligent design? You can do epigenetics! Evolutionists have held back science for decades by calling the metadata in DNA "junk DNA" and completely ignoring the information that was right in front of us the entire time. That's how severely dangerous the evolutionary theory is to real scientific progress. But by understanding DNA from an intelligent design framework science has come to understand that the "junk DNA" is actually metadata that controls the expressions of genes.

This was so good. Before I became Christian I could sense the spirit world. Could sense that evil worked through people and therfore forgiveness came easy.
